We are looking for qualified individuals who can work with people with Mental Health diagnoses and support them in the role of a Direct Support Professional.

We are looking for DSP's that have a passion for helping others, love empowering individuals to reach their goals, and who always put the person served first. The Direct Support Professional plays a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of the individuals that live in our apartment settings.

This position is an on location position at our apartment settings. 3 years Experience in working in an apartment setting doing Direct Supports is required.

Shifts in the Twin Cities Metro:

• Columbia Heights:      Monday - Friday 7 AM - 3 PM, OR 3 PM - 11 PM
• Minneapolis:                Monday - Friday 7 AM - 3 PM

Duties and Responsibilities:

Direct Support Professionals are responsible for assisting individuals with their day-to-day activities. Each individual we support has varying abilities and interests, so responsibilities may vary based on their needs.

• The individuals we serve require support and encouragement to reach their hopes, dreams, and goals.
• Most of the individuals require assistance with medication administration and supervision.
• Direct Support Professionals are required to ensure that assigned tasks and other preferred activities are supported throughout their shift and done in a person-centered way.
• Communication with other DSP's and supervisors is a must, as is documenting the events of the day.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Experience working with individuals with Mental Health Diagnosis/ Intellectual Disabilities.
• Passion for helping individuals and a person-centered approach to service delivery.
• Must pass a Background Study
• Valid Driver's License
