As a Lead Early Intervention Specialist, you will support clients aged 18 months to 20 years in home, community, and center settings, using developmental and sensory-based strategies to foster growth and connection. In addition, you will provide oversight to staff and support client progress monitoring. Level 2-1 providers are encouraged to apply for this leadership-focused role.
Flexibility to work in the Twin Cities as well as Washington, Chisago, Isanti, Mille Lacs, and Sherburne counties.
How you’ll make an impact:
- Use DIR Floor time and behavior analysis to achieve client goals.
- Attend required training and staff meetings.
- Adhere to HIPAA, legal, and ethical standards.
- Provide crisis intervention support when needed.
- Work with families and professionals for holistic care.
- Collect and document data to track client progress.
- Complete accurate session notes promptly.
- Collaborate with clinical leaders on treatment planning and progress updates.
What You Bring to the Team
- Provide intervention sessions as needed (e.g., staff absences).
- Observe and guide staff during sessions.
- Train, coach, and provide feedback to staff and leads.
- Develop materials such as schedules, stimuli, sensory tools, and training resources.
- Lead family skills training sessions.
